Sometimes, Do Nothing

I’ve taken upon myself to do something significant in the weekend leading up to Thanksgiving – nothing.

It’s easy to say that you had a restful weekend, to that you “did nothing” but how often is that actually true? Sure, I could clean my room, I could do laundry, I could prep for travelling back home. But I can do that Monday. This moment being an exception, as I’m writing at my favorite coffee shop, I plan on nothing this weekend. I woke up at noon, and I’ll probably go to bed early, and sleep in tomorrow too.

Take time yourself once in a while. Do nothing. Rest. We all need it these days.
